Deason Hewitt was at the house on Super Bowl Sunday and if you think his Pops let him in the house without proper attire....you are WRONG! Here he is with his Steelers outfit on that looked absolutely adorable!!! Enjoy!

It's been nearly a month

since I have posted! I don't have any pictures because I am not at my home computer. If I was I still wouldn't have pictures. I forgot to load them! Goofy me. I am going to get more pics soon and they will be great. Just wanted to give everyone a little update and let everyone know that it was a great Christmas around the Stephens family. I can't believe it is already 2009 and for that matter almost February! Do you know who your Valentine is? I sure do! My little nephew. I am one of those lucky single people and I love it. With cold weather it also brings the beginning of crawfish season and trust me...I have had my share of crawfish already and can't wait for more! They were great. I hope that you have a great weekend and I understand I need to get my camera out more often and I will!

Christmas is almost here!

So you know we have a Christmas tree, a precious nephew that is and I got a new camera. You do the math..christmas tree+precious nephew+new camera=tons of pretty pictures with the precious nephew!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!!

Ok so my Mom loves to decorate! She especially loves the Christmas time. Mom is the one to decorate for every holiday and she usually goes all out. This year was no different around Christmas time. I can't believe it is that time of year again! As I was strolling around the house I took random pictures of my favorite ornaments on the tree and my favorite stuff around the house. When you walk in the house you see this on the chopping block.

Sweet Jake's Memory

Hello Blogland! I am asking all my readers and friends to please keep the Raborn family in your prayers today. They are in Memphis keeping sweet Jake's memory alive by walking or running in the St. Jude's marathon. I want to wish the runners & walkers good luck! Loves hands & Aunt Tootie...oh and Friday Traffic!

Like I said in my post below we got to keep my precious nephew this weekend. Did you already forget how precious he is? Let us not forget any longer...

That is adorable!

Ok so anyway Friday I went to the mall. No the Earth didn't come crashing down! Thank goodness! For those of you that don't know me...I am not a shopper! Especially the mall! I refuse to go to the mall! I had to go because of this precious thing!

So I got all of his Christmas done and I get in my car to leave and I see this

Loads of traffic waiting to get out of the mall.

I told you that I was going to upload tons of pictures and this is a pic of Deason Hewitt on Thanksgiving with his Great Grandmother on my Mama's side...Maw-Maw.

It is Tuesday now and I started this post on Monday! I guess you could say it has been a little crazy! I had to scoot out of here really quick yesterday and go to the Team Jake Pep Rally. It was great to see those precious girls again. I am going off subject but I want to share a picture with you that I stole! Thanks Mel! aka Aunt Mo! Isn't she just so cute? I love that child. She is just precious and her cousin Maddie is just adorable. Want to see more cuteness? I have it in the form of my nephew!

He is blowing bubbles! He loves his hands!

The child is amazed by his hands! It is so funny because he will be just sitting in my lap and start looking at his hands. He has discovered something! He is also getting to where everything he holds goes straight to his mouth. It is just so fun to watch him grow and go through his stages and his personality is starting to show as well. When you are feeding him you don't take his bottle out of his mouth to burp him. According to him he could care less if he gets burped! He screams and hollers. He also screams and hollers laughing too and it is the funniest thing to watch.

Ok so I have some pictures from last night to upload. I will try to do that tomorrow night!

Side Note: I know you all remember Jake Owen Raborn? That is why the folks had the Pep Rally last night that I mentioned. The St. Jude Marathon is this weekend in Memphis! Should be so much fun and I can't wait to hear all about it. You can too if you go visit Mo at http://www.mojoy.blogspot.com/! She would be so happy to see you and you may see a familiar face there too! I am going to the Marathon next year as a cheerleader! I cannot wait!

I hope everyone has a happy holiday season! I can't believe Christmas is almost here! Just a couple of weeks away! Everyone be safe and as always please remember the families of our brave men and women that aren't able to share the holidays with their families and the ones we have lost.

Crawfish/TGiving

Hello Blogland! I know I have been MIA for a few days. I took some vacation off of work and apparently from here in Blogland too. I hope your Thanksgiving was as great as mine. It is always so nice to be surrounded by family! Especially when we have been so blessed. I mean I do have the cutest nephew anyone could ask for. I have pictures and downloaded them too! I just didn't download them to the computer...only to Picasa! If you look closely to the right you will see them! I finally had my crawfish on Friday night and they were little but they were good! Thank you to Vick and Jenny at Cypress Inn! That is in Monroe! It was great food! There is just not much going on. I mean my nephew did come over this weekend and I am not sure what I am going to do because I have been spoiled by seeing him everyday! I have seen him everyday this past week and it is going to be weird not seeing him. I am going to post pictures soon! I apologize about the lack of pictures!
